Events & activities

Event 1. On the 5th of August 2013, prior to Eid day, AAM Marleen Foundation, with the generosity of IMANA, donated $1,000.00 worth of fresh meat and rice from Fitra funds to families in Athulugama. Most families only get a chance to eat meat once a year or so as a result of these donations. Hundreds of families were given food, and it was a very successful event.

Event 2. On the 5th of September 2013 we had the opening ceremony of the IMANA Medical Clinic, Community Dental Clinic and the Vocational Training Center for the community of Athulugama. It was a great success. On the 1st day our doctors saw over 160 patients, and continued to see 70 patients daily, 6 times a week.
