Give Light Home

It is a place for them to call home; a place that gives them direction, education, emotional and spiritual support. Most importantly, it is a place filled with people around them who they can call “family.” In their times of darkness, we provide them with light. The Give Light Home can accommodate 80 orphans at its full capacity, with all the necessary facilities to provide food, room, board, shelter and education, giving these children a strong backbone of support.

The children are carefully selected by a professional committee based on the highest level of need and support that they require. Our team visits different cities, meets families and carefully selects its candidates. Once they are placed, this is their home until they become independent, compassionate and successful individuals who contribute towards society.

From its outside appearance to the inner design, the home is designed to provide the warmth of a house. The entrance to the home has a beautiful homely lobby with seating for visitors. The building has a total of 20 rooms, bathroom facilities, a common kitchen and pantry, a common children’s room for games, television and activities, a library and computer room, a dining area, storage rooms, visitors’ rooms and a large playground. The large back yard has a vegetable and fruit garden where we plan to have the children manage and grow their own fruits and vegetables. Attached to the building is a two bedroom apartment for the Mother and Father (caretakers) of the home.
